As a Hospitality Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for the children, youth, and their families who participate in our programs. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting visitors, helping to organize events, and ensuring that our guests have a positive experience.

Arrive by 7:00 AM for set-up. - Ability to lift and carry items (up to 20 lbs). - Good organizational skills and attention to detail. - Willingness to work as part of a team to ensure efficient setup.
Community Engagement Ambassador
Description:
As a Community Engagement Ambassador, you’ll be the face of the Community Theatre of Cabot at Cabot Fest. Your role involves interacting with the public, sharing information about CTC’s mission, upcoming productions, and classes. You’ll encourage community members to get involved and answer any questions they have. This is a great role for anyone who enjoys talking with people and spreading enthusiasm for the arts.
Requirements:
Availability to work 1.5-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. - Friendly, outgoing personality and a love for theatre. - Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with the public. - Basic knowledge of the Community Theatre of Cabot’s mission, upcoming events, and programs (training and materials will be provided).
Retail Assistant
Description:
The Retail Assistant will manage the sale of CTC merchandise, including koozies, pens, and stickers. You’ll handle cash and card transactions, track inventory, and keep the booth tidy and appealing. This role is perfect for volunteers with an eye for detail and a knack for sales.
Requirements:

Show Promoter
Description:
The Show Promoter will focus on generating excitement and awareness about CTC’s upcoming production of *Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express* and other theatre programs. You’ll engage festival attendees, distribute flyers, and answer questions about show dates, ticketing, and how people can get involved in future productions.
Requirements:
Availability for 1.5-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. - Outgoing and enthusiastic personality, with the ability to generate excitement about the production. - Basic knowledge of CTC’s upcoming shows and classes (materials provided). - Strong communication skills and comfort in public-facing roles.
Booth Tear-Down Crew
Description:
The Booth Tear-Down Crew will help dismantle the booth after the event ends at 4:30 PM. This includes packing up displays, inventory, and materials, ensuring everything is properly stored and transported back to CTC. You’ll work as part of a team to clean up efficiently.
Requirements:
Available from 4:30 PM to approximately 5:30 PM. - Ability to lift and carry items (up to 20 lbs). - Strong organizational skills. - Willingness to help in all areas of clean-up and teardown.
Stage Crew
Description:
Stage Crew Members are essential to the smooth operation of our theater productions, responsible for setting up, managing, and clearing the stage for performances. This role requires a keen eye for detail, teamwork, and a dedication to creating a professional and seamless experience for the audience and cast. Stage Crew Members work closely with the technical director, stage manager, and other crew to ensure each production runs smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities: • Setup and Breakdown: Assist with setting up props, furniture, and other set pieces before and after each performance. • Scene Changes: Participate in quick and accurate scene changes during live performances, ensuring smooth transitions. • Prop Management: Organize and maintain props backstage, ensuring they are in place and readily accessible when needed. • Technical Support: Work with the lighting and sound teams to ensure technical equipment is correctly positioned and unobstructed. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, handling of heavy objects, and ensuring pathways are clear. • Rehearsals and Performances: Attend rehearsals to become familiar with scene transitions, set movements, and technical cues. • Communication: Follow cues and instructions from the stage manager during live performances, and communicate effectively with other crew members and cast.
Requirements:
